Using the showVersion command to view version information

The showVersion command displays the version information for the DataLoad, DataChannel, and DataMart components that are installed on your system.

Before you begin

The commands for DataLoad (/opt/dataload/bin) and DataChannel (opt/proviso/datachannel/bin) are supported on the AIX, Linux, and Solaris operating systems. The showVersion command for DataMart (/opt/datamart/bin) is supported on the Solaris operating system only.

About this task

To run the showVersion command:

Procedure

Log in as pvuser on the server where the DataLoad, DataChannel, or DataMart is installed.
Ensure that your display variable is set.
To run the environment file for the component, enter the command:
```
. /opt/component_name/environment_filename
```
- component_name is DataLoad, DataChannel, or DataMart.
- env_filename is DataLoad.env, DataChannel.env, or DataMart.env

Enter the showVersion command. The product and build versioning information for the component displays.
