Installing the tool

Installation of the Technology Pack Development Tool is simple and fast.

  1. Download the latest version of the Technology Pack Development Tool.
  2. Extract the media to a location of choice with the following command: 
    cd /<pack_dev_tool>
$ tar zxvf tncp-rdo-sdk-2.4.1.0-120.tar.gz
    Where, <pack_dev_tool> is the directory where you extracted the tool media.
    You can see the following directories and files:
    • bin
      • device-discovery-tool
      • discovery-helper-tool
      • file-collector-tool
      • pack-tool
      • snmp-binding-tool
      • snmp-formula-tool
      • snmp-mib-tool
    • lib

      Contains the library files that are needed for the tool.
