Configuring TLSv1.3

version 7.1.0.25+ You can configure Netcool/Impact 7.1 for TLSv1.3 manually or by using the configImpactTLSv13 script. If you use the configImpactTLSv13 script, a restart of both the Impact UI and Impact server is required in order to pickup the changes. The Impact UI will stop being functional until the restart is performed.

Note:
  1. Since TLSv1.3 is not backwards compatible, when the Impact server is using TLSv1.3, the GetHTTP function will also be communicating in TLSv1.3. See GetHTTP function with Impact Server using TLS 1.3.
  2. If Impact is enabled with TLSv1.3, the derby sslMode must be set to either off or peerAuthentication.
