Installing Netcool/Impact

The Netcool®/Impact installer is an application that copies the program files to the target system and sets the minimum required configuration properties.

The installer deploys the Impact Server, and the GUI Server files into the WebSphere® Application Server Liberty Core on the target system.

You can choose between the GUI, console, and silent mode of the installation. If you are installing Netcool/Impact remotely by using telnet or another command-line application, you must run the installer in console mode. The silent mode, where you must edit an installation properties file before the installation, is recommended for advanced users.
