Default ports for data sources and services

Refer to the following tables for a list of default ports that are used by data sources and services in Netcool/Impact and where to view ports that are already assigned..

Derby data source 1527. The default Derby replication port is 4851.
Generic SQL data source 5432
HSQLDB data source 9001
Informix data source 1526
MS_SQL Server data source 1433
MYSQL data source 3306
Object Server data source 4100
Oracle data source 1521
PostGreSQL data source 5432
Sybase data source 5000
UI data provider data source 16310
LDAP data source The default value is set to a common port number: 389.

You can view ports that are assigned to data sources from impact/etc/<ServerName>_<DatasourceName>.ds. Where <ServerName> is the name of the Impact server and <DatasourceName> is the name of the specified data source.

Service Default port
Command Line manager service 2000
Email Sender Service Type the port for the mail server if the mail server SMTP port is other than the default port. The default port is 25.
ITNM Event Listener Service 4500
Email Reader Service The default POP3 port is 110. The default IMAP port is 143.
Event listener Service Not specified

You can view ports that are assigned to services from impact/etc/<ServerName>_<ServiceName>.props files.. Where <ServerName> is the name of the Impact server and <ServiceName> is the name of the specified service.
