Managing access groups

You can create and manage access groups with the tooling system.

Note: The Access Management page requires super administrator privileges. To configure the Access Management page, you need to configure the super administrators first before you configure the users.

Adding access groups and assigning a user

To create a new access group to the web server, complete the following steps:
  1. Click Access Management on the home page, or click the upper-right Settings button to navigate to Access Management.
  2. Click Add access group.
  3. Enter a group name.
  4. Enter a user ID that exists in the user registry, and select the corresponding role for the user.
  5. Click Finish.

Modifying roles in access group

As a super administrator or group admin, you can view and modify a user's role within an access group.

To modify the user roles in an access group, complete the following steps:
  1. Click Access Management on the home page, or click the upper-right Settings button to navigate to Access Management.
  2. Click to open the respective access group. You can view the list of users belongs to this group.
  3. Click Edit to modify the role assigned to a user, to add a new user or to delete a user from the access group.
  4. Click Finish.
