Phases of migration

When you use TDMF, there are several phases of migration. These phases can be slightly different depending on how you set the Switch Back feature. Each phase is described in detail in the following paragraphs.

The TDMF migration process includes more phases that apply when the APPROVAL option of the Switch Back feature is selected. For more information, see Phases of migration with the switch back feature.

If you choose to migrate volumes without the use of the Switch Back feature, the migration phases that follow apply.
