Enabling remote control for the TS7650G (Gateway), ProtecTIER® V3.4.3

You can use a web browser to enable remote control of the TS7650G.

About this task

Remote control through the IMM for the 3958 DD5 server can now be enabled from a computer or notebook with any of the following browsers:
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Google Chrome
Important: The TSSC does not currently support access to remote control.

Procedure

  1. In the Integrated Management Module window, click Remote Control in the left navigation pane.
  2. Click Start Remote Control in Single User Mode. The ASM Remote Control window opens.
    Note: If the browser on the TSSC or service notebook is configured to block pop-up windows, temporarily disable this function. Accept any Java™ versions that are displayed, in addition to any Windows security prompts displayed as a result of trying to open this window.
