Starting the Configuration/Setup Utility program for the TS7650 Appliance or TS7650G (Gateway), ProtecTIER V3.3.6

Complete the following steps to start the Configuration/Setup Utility program.

Procedure

  1. Power off the server if not already powered off. Refer to Power procedures for ProtecTIER version 3.1 or later or Powering off the ProtecTIER server version 2.5 or earlier.
  2. Log in to the RSA using the procedure in Logging in to the 3958 DD1, DD3, and AP1 (DD3-based) server through the RSA connection, or use the direct attached monitor and keyboard or the TSSC.
  3. Turn on or restart the server and press the F1 key when the System x® logo screen displays, as shown in Figure 1.

  4. From the Configuration/Setup Utility screen select the item you want to change.
  5. To change the RSA static IP address, go to Configuring the RSA card for the TS7650 Appliance or TS7650G (Gateway), ProtecTIER V3.3.6.
