Explanation
An error occurred while invoking SORT during the RECOVER process. In some cases, the error was not necessarily caused by SORT itself, but during the RECOVER BCS handling of the catalog and/or SMF data under the SORTIN or SORTOUT exit routines. In these situations, other messages identifying the specific data related errors will have appeared after the corresponding CKM04132I message, but prior to this message. If the error is due to an actual problem relating to the SORT product being invoked, the error may be identified via error messages in the SORTMSG sysout. The SORT ID value can be used to relate the error message in the SORTMSG listing back to the BCS recovery in SYSPRINT. For DF/SORT, the ID will appear in message ICE200I of the SORTMSG listing. For Syncsort (TM) output, this identifier will appear in message WER428I.

If the problem is evident due to the prior CKM messages, then refer to the actions for that message id. Otherwise, address the problems indicated by the SORT product. If you are unable to identify or resolve the issues, then contact Customer Support. Save all spooled output from this execution (including the JESMSGLG, JESJCL, JESYSMSG, and SORTMSG sysout) such that it can be transferred as a text file for the problem report.
