4001W PREVIOUS VOLUME NOT FOUND IN OCDS

Explanation

In the OCDS each tape has a root record called extension 0000. In this extension is a previous volume pointer, indicating that the first data set on the tape is continued from a previous volume. Audit Suite has looked up the detail of that first data set and has determined that it is valid and is continued from a previous volume. In this case the previous volume is different than the PVOL field in the OCDS. This error may be corrected by patching the previous volume field.
