FORMAT command

Use the FORMAT command in the ISPF interface to specify the name of the AKDPLANS member that will store in a plan the formatting information for the currently displayed report. The AKDFRMT panel appears, where you can specify appropriate values for the command parameters.

The AKDFRMT panel is shown in the following figure.

 Description . . . . . . . . CONTROL DATA SETS BEING USED BY DFSMSHSM:
Keep the following in mind as you complete these fields:
  • If you want to replace an existing member with the formatting and layout information from the current report, type Y in the Replace Existing Member field.
  • You cannot use member names that begin with AKD. Be careful about specifying a member name that has the same name as a report that is shipped with Advanced Audit for DFSMShsm; if you do so, whenever a user requests that report, Advanced Audit for DFSMShsm displays the customized report rather than the default report.
