Enabling the integration

On the Envizi Integration page, you can enable the integration and configure the number of levels that are used in the hierarchy. If you want existing records to be populated, a patch helper workflow handles that.

Procedure

  1. Click Tools > System Setup > Integration > Envizi Integration to view the fields that are used to populate the previously created groups 1, 2 and 3 in IBM® Envizi.
  2. Click the Enable Envizi checkbox to enable Envizi. The Envizi tab is displayed only when this checkbox is selected.
  3. Click the Number of Levels list to configure the number of hierarchy levels that are used by the Envizi hierarchy.
  4. If you wish to select records from a specific hierarchy instead of retrieving all building records, you can apply a filter to the query.
    1. On the Data tab, click the Active Building Migration or Retired Buildings tab to view the list of buildings that do not have data for Envizi group 3.
    2. Select the cst -triBuilding - query - get all buildings for envizi query and change it to match your search. The list of buildings that are displayed on this query is the list of buildings that the patch helper workflow modifies.
    3. Select the Envizi group names and click Save to populate all buildings with the options that you selected. When a building is saved and changes are made on the defined fields, the Envizi groups and path are modified according to the selected options.
    4. Use the Envizi tab in the building record to find the saved groups.
