Reviewing TRIRIGA Application Suite log files

The SLS log file contains messages that can help you to debug your system. A message in the SLS log file can be an error, a warning, an information-only message, or a debug message.

Information messages contain details about TRIRIGA Application Suite transactions such as:
  • A user has been assigned to a product and how many Application Points that transaction has used. This is denoted by a checkout in the SLS logs.
  • A user has been unassigned from a product and how many Application points that transaction has recovered. This is denoted by a checkin in the SLS logs. If a user is assigned or unassigned to a product that is within its pack size allotment, the log will reflect the action only; not the Application Points for the transaction, unless the pack size is exceeded.
Note: The following topic describes how to access the SLS log file, which contains information that is directly related to IBM TRIRIGA Application Suite. For more information about general log files, see IBM TRIRIGA Application Platform: Administering logs.
