Saved and shared filters

Shared filters allow to access and reuse filters created by Administrator of a system in any view or report. It's especially useful when filter is quite complex and might be reused in multiple views/reports by multiple people.

How to find Shared filters?

You can find shared filters by clicking '...' control in filter field area:

Filters list will be different based on which entity types are selected as a source.

How to create Saved filters?

Any users can create and save filter for their own needs:

  1. Select entity as card/lane.
  2. Put any filter into the filter field for selected cards/lanes.
  3. Click on the Star icon from the right.

As a result filter will save and you can access it from any view/report with selected entity type it's created for.

Other operations with Saved filters

Share filter
  1. Click '...' control.
  2. Mouse over the filter you'd like to share.
  3. Click 'Share this filter' icon located from the left.

As a result filter will move into 'Shared filters' area and become accessible by anyone.

Rename filter

You can give a name to Saved filter by entering label into text field that appears when hovering it.

Note:

Giving a name to a filter may be especially useful when looking at the View information. This way visitors of the view will get user-friendly explanation of what's displayed on a view.

Delete filter

You can delete filter by clicking 'X' icon.

You can hide shared filter from everybody by clicking 'Make private' icon.

Any user can rename/delete their own private filters.

Only administrators of a system can rename/delete shared filters or make them private.
