Sort Entities in Views
You can sort entities based on multiple properties in both Board Views and List Views using either cards, rows, or columns. For example, a User Story can be sorted by Rank, Name, Effort, Business Value, Start Date, Complete Date, Due Date, and other values in Custom Fields.
In
all view types, the sorting order is set permanently in the View settings, which affects all users
accessing that view. To check the current sorting order for a view, navigate to Actions >
Set up view > Setup tab.
In addition, List Views allow for quick adjustments to the sort order by clicking the Column Header. It makes the sorting private, so it does not affect other users. Columns also support ascending, descending, and unsorted modes.

Customize View Settings
Administrators and View Owners can customize permanent view settings. It is possible to setup sorting for cards, horizontal and vertical Lanes on Board views and for cards and hierarchical levels on List views. Open Actions > Set up view > Setup tab to configure sorting order for a view.

Troubleshooting
Numeric ID is not available option for sorting. In Targetprocess, IDs are assigned in chronological order. Therefore, sorting by Create Date displays the same result as sorting by ID.
