Setup of RACF-Offline

The RACF-Offline function is a component of zSecure Admin that allows you to execute and test RACF® commands on a RACF database that is not active in the system. Using this program, you can test changes to RACF definitions without impacting any other software running on the system and without using a dedicated test system. Instructions for installing RACF-Offline are provided in the Program Directory: IBM Security zSecure Admin RACF-Offline. After you have installed the product, you must perform additional post-installation activities to activate the function. For information, see Installing and activating RACF-Offline.
