  • IBM z16 (Model A02) (3932) to IBM z17 Single Frame (Model ME2) (9176)
  • IBM LinuxONE Rockhopper 4 (Model LA2) (3932) to IBM LinuxONE Rockhopper 5 Single Frame (Model ML2) (9176)
The following upgrades are not supported:
  • IBM z15® Model T02 (8562) to IBM z17 Single Frame (Model ME2) (9176)




An upgrade includes all frames, support cards, and new or carry forward I/O features.
