Explanation
One of the following conditions exist:- You specified the CHPARM keyword with a value of xx for a TYPE=yyy channel path. The CHPARM keyword is valid only for CNC, FCV, FC, OSD, OSH, OSM, OSX, and IQD channel paths. For CNC, FCV, and FC channel paths, the valid values are 00 and 01. For OSD, OSH, OSM, and OSX channel paths, the valid values are 00 and 02. For IQD channel paths, see Table 1 to determine the correct IQD CHPARM values (12 acceptable values).
- You specified the FIDPARM keyword with a value of xx for a TYPE=yyyy function ID (FID). The FIDPARM keyword is only valid for NETH FIDs and the valid values are 00 and 01.
System action
IOCP continues to validate and check the syntax of the remaining statements. However, it does not generate an IOCDS and it does not produce configuration reports.
Programmer response
Ensure that CHPARM is specified only for channel path types that support it and specifies only a valid value for the channel path type.
