A level 26 coupling facility (CFLEVEL=26) provides the following enhancements:
  • CFCC image initialization time improvements
  • Release Retry Index by Authority (RRIBA) enhancements for Scalable Retry Buffer Cleanup
  • Increase from 16 to 32 dedicated CF processors per image
  • Nondisruptive system-managed copy process for lock structures
  • Exploitation of warning track interrupts
  • Remove support for CF Flash Memory (VFM)
  • Remove support for CF images using dedicated GP processors
    • A CF partition may be defined to use dedicated ICF processors, shared ICF processors, or shared GP processors.
  • Support for CE3 LR 25 Gb coupling links (CL6).
