IOCP CMS utility

The IOCP CMS utility is a front-end to the IOCP command. The utility attempts to enable dynamic I/O configuration capability of any resulting IOCDS. The options DYN and NODYN are deprecated and ignored. The IOCP CMS utility requires the following:
  • Privilege class B
  • An IOCP input file on a read/write disk when the file is dynamic-capable.

If you do not have privilege class B, dynamic I/O changes will not be possible for any resultant IOCDS. Also, if you do not have privilege class B but the IOCP input file is dynamic-capable and on a disk that is read-only, an error occurs.
