Resetting priorities to resolve intersections

Perform the following steps to reset priorities:
  1. If you have not already done so, display the CU Priorities view by clicking CU Priorities. Figure 1 shows the originally assigned priorities and four associated intersections.

  2. In the CU Priorities pane, change the priority of any control unit that has an intersection and has the same priority as another control unit. Figure 2 shows the updated priorities.

  3. Click Automatic Mapping or Process Intersections.
    Note: (As previously noted, Automatic Mapping includes processing intersections. However there may be times when you want to process intersections without the overhead of performing automatic mapping. See Optionally using Process Intersectionsfor more information.)

    Figure 3 shows only two "C" intersections (after changing a priority) rather than the original four.
