Determining your checkout method
SSRs can do a checkout in either of two ways:
- With the rack mount hardware still in the shipping pod before it has been installed in the customer's rack. In this instance, go to Shipping pod.
- After the hardware has already been installed in the customer's rack. In this instance, go to Processor safety inspection.
Note: This manual contains information that pertains to both cases. That is, it describes all of the
labeling that you should see, including labels for a system that has already been installed and
additional labels that can be seen only when moving a component from the shipping pod to the
customer's rack (for example, labels on the top of a CPC drawer).
