Getting started

Before you can use Rhapsody Systems Engineering, learn how to log in to the application and perform initial tasks as an administrator or a user.

Getting started for administrators
As an administrator, after you plan your deployment and install Rhapsody Systems Engineering on your system, you can get started by creating projects, inviting users to work on them, setting up the Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC) integrations, and establishing project associations. You can also set up project usages, if you want to share libraries between projects.
Getting started for users
You can start working on Rhapsody Systems Engineering projects after your project or server administrator adds you as a new user. You are either added as a project administrator or as a practitioner.
