Performance Test Utilities and Debugging

You can use the information that is gathered by performance tools for throughput measurement and capacity planning.

Two performance tools are included with IBM® Security Verify Directory Integrator Version 10.0.0: a Performance Test Utilities tool and a Performance Debugging tool. These tools monitor and log system and server information at specified intervals of time.

The following sections describe these tools and explain how to configure and gather information from them.

• Performance Test Utilities
  Use the Performance Test Utilities to benchmark macro parameters such as throughput, application memory and CPU usage.
• Performance debugging
  Use the Performance Debugging tool to identify memory usage and memory leaks in specific IBM® Security Verify Directory Integrator components by collecting information at specific intervals and upon certain actions.
