Command line support

You can use the script for starting and stopping the service with the help of information provided here.

IBM® Security Verify Directory Integrator provides a script for starting and stopping the IBM® Security Verify Directory Integrator service on Windows and UNIX systems. The script is located in the TDI_install_dir/bin directory, and is named servicemgr.bat(sh).

The usage of the script is as follows:

servicemgr service_name start|stop

where:

service_name
is the name of the service. For Windows systems this is ibmdisrv by default or the value of servicename property in the ibmdiservice.props file. For UNIX systems this is the identifier field from the /etc/inittab file.

start|stop
the required command to perform on the service.
