Roadmap for setting up the plug-in
To set up the plug-in, you must configure the required settings in the IBM Security Access Manager API, IBM Security Directory Server, and Federated Directory Server.
The Federated Directory Server provides an identity federation service by keeping one or more identity stores synchronized with a central IBM Security Directory Server instance.
IBM Security Directory Server provides a pass-through authentication feature that you can configure through Federated Directory Server.
The Federated Directory Server plug-in for IBM Security Access Manager extends this solution by synchronizing user accounts and groups with IBM Security Access Manager.
The following roadmap specifies the steps in an end-to-end scenario for setting up the plug-in.
