Directory server log and configuration file locations
To diagnose any issue that is related to IBM® Security Verify Directory, it is important to collect the log and configuration file.
You can find the log and configuration file that you usually check to determine issues that are related to IBM Security Verify Directory at the following locations.
- On AIX®, and Linux™ platforms

- Administration Server log file: instance_home/idsslapd-instance_name/logs/ibmslapd.log
- DB2® error log: instance_home/idsslapd-instance_name/logs/db2cli.log
- Audit log file: instance_home/idsslapd-instance_name/logs/audit.log
- On Windows™ platforms
