Using the command line
You can use the commands provided here to do the start up in configuration mode.
About this task
Specify -a or -A on server startup.
idsslapd -a -I <instancename>ibmdirctl -h <hostname> -D <adminDN> -w <adminpw>-p <portnumber>
start -- -aNote: The -n and -N options
prevent the server from starting if the server is unable to start
with the database backends (not in configuration only mode). See the ibmdirctl command
