You can run IBM® Security Verify Directory installation with operating system command-line utilities.

You must obtain the IBM Security Verify Directory installation source before you install the product. IBM Security Verify Directory product is available in archive files.

You must prepare the installation media. For more information, see Preparation of installation media.

Important: To use IBM Security Verify Directory as a full directory server, install a supported version of DB2® on the computer if it is not installed. You must configure the ldapdb.properties file with the path name and version of DB2.
