Use the jct-fips-mode-processing stanza entry to enable or disable Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) mode for junction connections.

Syntax

jct-fips-mode-processing = {yes|no}

Description

Determines whether Federal Information Process Standards (FIPS) mode is enabled for communications with junctioned servers. If this configuration entry is not present, the default value is no.

Note: The [ssl] jct-nist-compliance setting can override this entry. If jct-nist-compliance is set to yes, FIPS mode processing is automatically enabled.

Options

yes: FIPS mode is enabled.
no: FIPS mode is disabled.

This stanza entry is optional.
