Getting fixes from Fix Central

You can use Fix Central to find the fixes for IBM products. With Fix Central, you can search, select, order, and download fixes for your system with a choice of delivery options. A product fix might be available to resolve your problem.

Procedure

To find and install fixes:
  1. Obtain the tools that are required to get the fix. If it is not installed, obtain your product update installer. You can download the installer from Fix Central.
    This site provides download, installation, and configuration instructions for the update installer.
  2. Select the product, and select one or more check box that are relevant to the problem that you want to resolve.

  3. Identify and select the fix that is required.

  4. Download the fix.

    1. Open the download document and follow the link in the Download Package section.
    2. When downloading the file, ensure that the name of the maintenance file is not changed.
      This change might be intentional, or it might be an inadvertent change that is caused by certain web browsers or download utilities.
  5. Apply the fix.
