To help protect the integrity of the Verify Identity Access appliance, certain ModSecurity capabilities are not available.

The following ModSecurity actions are not available:
  • exec
  • inspectFile
The following ModSecurity configuration elements are fixed and cannot be modified:
  • SecTmpDir
  • SecDataDir
  • SecUploadDir
  • SecDebugLog
  • SecAuditLog
  • SecAuditLog2
  • SecAuditLogType
  • SecAuditLogStorageDir
  • SecRuleScript
  • SecGeoLookupDb
  • SecUnicodeMapFile

Support for the GeoIP database, used for geolocation rules, is not currently available.
