Requirements for developing Java applications

To develop Java applications that use the Verify Identity Access authorization API, you must install and configure the required software.

JRE requirements
The installation of an appropriate JRE is required when using the Verify Identity Access authorization API Java classes and methods.
Configuring the IBM Verify Identity Access Runtime for Java component to a particular environment
Configure the IBM Verify Identity Access Runtime for Java component to use the correct JRE on the system by using the pdjrtecfg command on UNIX systems and the pdjrtecfg.bat command on Windows systems.
