Release notes - July 2026

Application build: 2.45.54

As IBM Support Insights (IBM SI) continues to evolve, here are the details of the application's current progress.

Fixed issues and upgrades

Following is a list of improvements and new implementations in the application.

Case metrics augmentation

  • Clicking the Pro widget links now takes you to the Case History table on the Pro tab of the Case metrics page of the application.
  • The Case volume by severity graph can now be visually filtered to display either Open, Created, or Closed or Canceled cases using the designated selector located immediately before the graph, allowing you to focus on the particular set of support cases that interests you the most.
  • The Case History table in the Case metrics page of the application is now further enriched following the implementation of an additional data point.
  • An enhanced user experience is introduced with the significant cut down of loading times on the respective application page.

AI assistant enhancements

  • You can now edit the list of default topics in the AI assistant chat window (visible when in full screen) - the customizations are per user and propagated through user sessions. Note, the customizations are browser-stored, hence will be removed when the cache/cookies are deleted.
  • When you are using the AI assistant in full screen mode and you click on an existing topic from the list - the text is now automatically sent to the assistant in the chat (as opposed to pasting in the chat for the you to manually have to send to the assistant).

General updates

  • The asset(s) editing dialog now has a fourth sub-tab - TAM reports tab - allowing you to manually mark assets as Premium and have them included in TAM reports. Please note, the sub-tab is not available to users without appropriate TAM access levels.

Inventory management - General The values in the Vendor recommended OS versions column are not searchable while in View services table mode. To be fixed in a future release.
Risks & Recommendations - General Some OS/Firmware alerts might be missing if multiple data collection methods are used. To be fixed in a future release.
