Release notes - April 2026

Application build: 2.42.36

As IBM Support Insights (IBM SI) continues to evolve, here are the details of the application's current progress.

Fixed issues and upgrades

Following is a list of improvements and new implementations in the application.

Risks and recommendations

  • The OS/Firmware risk category can now be further broken down into additional sub-categories with the introduction of a selector appearing immediately after you select the risk group gauge.
  • You now have the ability to view either all OS/Firmware risk alerts simultaneously or each sub-category individually - depending on whether you prefer an overview or a data segmentation.
  • The Microcode sub-category (wherever required data is available) offers additional insights, such as number of affected components, component names and fix links - available to Pro clients only.
  • The new Diversity sub-category allows you to also see the number of unique OS versions of the impacted devices, saving you research time when remediating an alert.

General updates

  • Various interface and interaction improvements have been introduced, adding up to a more refined look and feel of the application, as well as a better user experience.
