After you create a Splunk connection, you can use the connection in the following
stage:

Splunk Connection Properties
When creating a Splunk connection, configure the following properties on the Splunk tab:

To use an HTTP proxy for the connection, configure the following properties on the Proxy tab:

| Username | Proxy user name. |
| Password | Proxy password. |
