You can extend only the first instance of a repeating panel or screen by using the
Workbench tool.
About this task
Examples of a repeating panel or screen are Address panel or Product Details screen. You
can do the extension process either in the Editor Outline View or by using the keyboard or mouse.
The procedure on how to extend the Product Details screen is provided.
Procedure
- In the Editor Outline view, select the first instance of the Product Details screen that
you want to extend. If you select any other instance of the same screen, an appropriate error
message is displayed.
If you select any other instance of the Product Details screen by using the keyboard shortcuts or
mouse, an appropriate error message is displayed, and the focus is automatically shifted to the
first instance of the screen.
- Modify the changes on the screen as needed.
- Click Save. The screen gets refreshed and your changes are
automatically applied to all instances of the screen.
