User interface

Enabling language packs

Enable the language pack for your environment in Self Service. For more information, see Enabling language packs.

Changing user locale

To change your locale, you must change the user profile in Applications Manager. For more information, see Modifying your user profile.

Changing languages

You can set the language that you want to use in the application and the documentation.
User interface
The language that is displayed in the UI is based on the user locale that is configured in the Sterling Order Management System. Language packs must be installed for the Sterling Order Management System.

Use the following steps to change the language for the user interface.

  1. Select the locale for the user in Applications Manager.
    1. In Applications Manager, click Applications, and then click Application Platform.
    2. Click Security and then click Users.
    3. Search for a user, and then click a user record.
    4. Select the locale for the user.
  2. Set the following property value in the customer_overrides.properties file to display values in API outputs: 
    yfs.api.output.displaylocalized=true
  3. Log in to the application with the user credentials.
Documentation
To change the language for documentation, scroll to the end of any documentation page, and select a language from the language selector.
User interface and documentation
To change the language for both, product user interface and documentation, select a different language for your browser.
