Clienteling

The clienteling feature provides a comprehensive view of a shopper’s activity.

A store associate can view the shopper’s information like contact details, birthday, membership type, product recommendations, recently viewed products and order history. The store associate can also manage notes associated with the customer's profile. Using the clienteling feature, a store associate can easily engage a customer in a purchase.

A customer might walk into a store looking for some products to purchase. A store associate can look up the customer using email address or phone number. The store associate can then assist the customer by displaying system-driven recommendations based on the orders already placed by the customer.

The store associate may also look at the products recently viewed by the customer and the most recent keywords that the customer has used to search products on an online shopping interface. By using a keyword, the store associate can view all products that correspond to the keyword and thus be able to strike a conversation with the customers about their interest in the products, which increases the opportunity to convert the product searches into sales.

Additionally, the store associate can get a good picture of the products that a customer is interested to purchase by viewing the customer's wish list retrieved from an online shopping interface. This would improve the quality of interaction with the customer and increase the opportunity to convert the wish list into sales orders.

If a customer has added products to an online cart, the store associate can view such products in the application and add them to an order. This provides a seamless cross-channel customer experience and prevents the problem of abandoned carts, thus promoting the overall sales.

If a customer shows interest in a product and would like to know more about the product, the store associate can view the product details from the customer's profile. The customer can be informed about the product and other products that are commonly bought together. The store associate can also share the product details with the customer through an email. Further, the store associate can also view the availability of a product against each fulfillment method and if the customer instantly decides to purchase the product, the store associate can quickly add products to an existing order or a new order.

If the customer has already included products in a cart, the store associate can quickly access the cart from the customer's profile. The store associate can remove individual products from the cart or check out the cart to proceed with order creation as required.

The store associate can also view the customer's complete order history and additional information in the form of notes associated with the profile. The store associate can also add notes to the customer's profile. Further, the store associate can also view and manage the existing appointments and create new appointments for the customer.
