Searching an order
The store associate can search for order using either order details or customer details.
Procedure
- Log in to Sterling Store Engagement.

Search for the order by performing the following steps:
- With order information:
- Click the Search button on the menu bar. The search bar opens with Order as the default entry point.
- Scan the order receipt or enter the order number in the search field and click Search. Alternatively, you can perform advanced search to narrow your search results. Click Advanced Search. Additional search criteria are displayed.
- Enter or select appropriate details and then click Search.
- If the search results in a single confirmed order, the Order Summary screen is displayed. If it is a draft order, the View Cart screen is displayed.
- If the search results in multiple orders, select the required order, and then click View Products. The Order Summary or View Cart screen is displayed based on the status of the order.
- With customer information:
- Click the Global Search button, the search bar opens.
- From the adjacent menu, select Customer.
- In the search box, enter customer's phone number. The application returns the customer details
matching the phone number. Alternatively, you can perform advanced search to narrow your search
results. Click Advanced Search. Advanced search criteria are displayed. Enter
or select appropriate details such as First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone Number, Zip Code, or Last
Four Digits of Credit Card, and then click Search.
- If the search results in a single customer, the Customer Details screen is displayed. The Customer Details screen provides the customer's order history, from which you can select the required order and click View Products. The Order Summary or View Cart screen is displayed based on the status of the order.
- If the search results in multiple customers, the Customer List screen is displayed. Select the appropriate customer, and then click View Orders. Orders placed by the customer are displayed. Select the required order and click View Products. The Order Summary or View Cart screen is displayed based on the status of the order.
To refine the order list, perform the following steps:- Click Refine Order List. The Refine pop-up window opens with Order Date, Order Status, and Order Channel as filters.
- Expand a filter and select the appropriate value. If you want to search for orders created only in the current store, select Search within store
- Click Apply. The order results are narrowed based on the filters applied.
