Learn how to configure the Sterling Store Engagement capabilities.

Configuring locations
You can configure locations in Sterling Store Engagement such that the locations that you have in your store are added to the system.
Configuring single-location stores
You can configure a store as a single-location store if it is not be large enough to configure multiple locations or if you do not want to maintain multiple locations.
Configuring inventory management capability in stores
You can configure to enable or disable Store Inventory Management capabilities for a Sterling Order Management System node.
Updating catalog data
You can synchronize catalog data, such as serialized flag, department, and product velocity, from IBM® Sterling Order Management System to Store Inventory Management.
Enabling metrics for the Manager Dashboard
To view the Manager Dashboard, you must configure the appropriate resource permissions and enable metrics.
Configuring customer service
Before store associates can perform customer service tasks, the configurations that are required for these tasks must be completed.
Configuring order fulfillment
Before store associates can fulfill orders, the configurations that are required for tasks such as backroom pick, packing orders, shipping orders, and customer pickup must be completed.
Configuring inventory management
Before store associates can perform inventory management tasks, the configurations that are required for tasks such as receive, put away, move, count, lookup and adjust, and transfer inventory must be completed.
Configuring service level indicators
You can add a service level indicator to be shown for orders on the user interface based on the configured threshold and expected shipment date.
Configuring alerts
To configure alerts, enable appropriate resource permissions and polling interval.
Configuring the polling interval
You can configure the polling interval to specify the time interval in which to refresh the alerts count.
