Shipment search

As a store associate, you can search for any shipment across all stores of an enterprise and provide relevant and current shipment information to the customer. You can also search for orders that are being fulfilled by other stores if you are a part of the same team.

You can scan the bar code on a receipt or manually enter the shipment or order number to view the shipment details. If a customer does not have the shipment or order number, the store associate can use Advanced Search to search for the shipment using other criteria such as order type, expected shipping or pickup date, carrier, and store associate to whom the task is assigned. If multiple shipments are found that match your search criteria, they are listed and the store associate can select the appropriate shipment to view the Shipment summary. If a single shipment is found, the Shipment Summary screen is displayed.

Shipment number and order number are unique to each shipment and order. An order can have multiple shipments if it is being fulfilled from different locations.

You can complete the following actions by using the shipment search capability:
  • Search for an order or a shipment across all stores in an enterprise.
  • Check status of a particular shipment or order.
  • Browse directly to Pick order screen from the Shipment summary screen for orders that are Ready for picking or Picking is in progress .
  • Browse directly to Pack order screen from the Shipment summary screen for orders that are Ready for packing or Packing is in progress .
  • Browse directly to Customer pick screen from the Shipment summary screen for orders that are Ready for customer pick.
