Customer service tasks

This section describes the implementation details of the customer service tasks such as order capture, returns and exchanges and so on.

Order capture
A store associate must be able to capture customer's orders at any place in a store, regardless of the fulfillment method and availability of the products.
Returns and exchanges
A customer might want to return a product for various reasons, and the store associate can accept and process returned products for an order.
View or modify an order
Once orders are created, the store associate should be able to search for an order and modify the order as needed.
Clienteling
When a customer visits a store, a store associate should be able to engage the customer in a purchase by identifying the customer and viewing the customer's profile. The profile should display the customer's basic details along with the product preferences, purchase history, and so on.
In-store appointments
A store associate should be able to view upcoming appointments, create new appointments and manage existing appointments for a customer.
