Configuring store payment rules

You can configure payment rules for a store by using Sterling Business Center.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the Store Payment Rules wizard. To navigate to the Store Payment Rules wizard, perform the following steps:
    1. Log in to Sterling Business Center as an Enterprise Administrator. The Business Center home page opens.
    2. Click System Setup. The System Setup home page opens.
  2. From the Organization menu, select the organization for which you want to apply the rules.
  3. Expand the Store Administration menu, and click Payment Rules.

    The Store Payment Rules screen opens.

  4. Select Use A Single Field To Enter The Name On The Credit Card In The User Interface check box to capture the name on the credit card in a single field on the user interface while confirming payments.
  5. Click one of the following options:
    • Authorize Payment Methods In Real Time for Draft Orders - Click this option to enable users to authorize payment methods in real time for draft orders.
    • Do Not Authorize Payment Methods In Real Time for Draft Orders - Click this option to enable users not to authorize payment methods in real time for draft orders.
  6. Click Save.

    Based on the configured value, users can authorize or not authorize payment methods for draft orders. For example, if you click Authorize Payment Methods In Real Time For Draft Orders, payment methods are authorized in real time during order creation.
