Managing customer notes

You can view existing notes associated with a customer and add new notes to the customer's profile.


  1. Log on to Sterling Store Engagement and switch to the Customer Service View by using the eye icon.
  2. In the More Tasks portlet, click Look up Customer. The Look up Customer portlet opens.
  3. Identify the customer and navigate to the Customer Profile screen.
  4. On the customer's profile, you can perform the following tasks:
    1. Click the notes icon in the bottom panel. The Notes window opens where you can view the existing notes.
    2. In the Add Note field, enter an appropriate note.

      You can select Mark important for a note, if required.

    3. Click Add. The newly added note is displayed.

    You may click Close to close the window after viewing or adding notes.
