Identifying a customer

You can identify a customer from the Look up Customer portlet in the Customer Service view.


  1. Log on to Sterling Store Engagement and switch to the Customer Service View by using the eye icon.
  2. In the More Tasks portlet, click Look up Customer. The Look up Customer portlet opens.
  3. Enter the customer's email address or phone number and search.
    Alternatively, click Advance Search and enter the First Name, Last Name or Last Four Digits of Credit Card to identify the customer. You may also click Search without entering any customer details to perform a blind search.

    If your search results in a single customer record, the customer's profile opens. Otherwise a list of matching customer records are displayed from which you can select the appropriate customer record.
