Editing appointments

You can edit exiting appointments from the Appointment Summary screen.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Sterling Store Engagement and switch to the Customer Service View by using the eye icon.
  2. In the More Tasks portlet, click Appointments. The Appointments portlet opens.
  3. Navigate to the Appointment Summary screen of the appointment that you want to edit.

  4. From the Appointment Summary screen, click Edit on the More menu. The Select Service screen opens.
    1. On the Select Service screen, you can add or remove services or change instructions and then click Continue. The Select Date and Time screen opens.
    2. On the Select Date and Time screen, you can do that following tasks:
      • For confirmed appointments, you can click Cancel to cancel a service.
      • For services that do not have confirmed appointments, you can click Remove to remove the service, if not needed.
      • If a customer wants to reschedule an existing appointment and the scheduled date and time is lapsed, you can click Reschedule. You will remain on the Select Date and Time screen and the appointment details remain same. But you can choose a different date and time slot that meets the customer requirements.
      • You can select a different time slot or store similar to how you select the options while Creating appointments.
  5. Click Finish.
    The Appointment Summary screen opens.
