Event categories

TS7785 events are categorized by severity so that you can quickly identify which events require action first.

Error

Error events have the highest priority and require immediate action. In the Events panel, an error is identified by a red circle with a white diagonal slash. Error events indicate a condition that can interrupt TS7785 operations, such as hardware failures, communication failures, loss of access to virtual volumes, or suspended mount operations. Review the event immediately and take the recommended action.

Warning

Warning events have the second-highest priority and require attention when time allows. In the Events panel, a warning is identified by a yellow triangle that contains a black exclamation point (!). Warning events indicate a condition that does not pose an immediate threat to TS7785 operations, but can lead to degraded performance, reduced redundancy, or configuration problems if not resolved. Investigate the event and resolve it as appropriate.

Information

Information events have the lowest priority and do not require corrective action. In the Events panel, an information event is identified by a blue balloon that contains a white lowercase i. Information events record normal TS7785 activity, such as system operations, status updates, and user-initiated actions. Use these events for monitoring and historical review.
