This topic describes the boundaries (thresholds) of free cache space in a TS7785 .
Out of Cache and Limited Cache Free Space states
When the cluster enters or exits Out of Cache or Limited Cache state, an event message is sent to the management interface.
LMTDTHR is the limited cache threshold value.
- Out of Cache Free Space state
-
The cluster enters this state under the following conditions:
- Disk-only: Cache usage is over (Enabled cache capacity - 1 TB)
- Cloud-attach: Cache usage is over MAX (95% of CP0 size, CP0 size - 1 TB)
The cluster exits this state under the following conditions:
- Disk-only: Cache usage is under (Enabled cache capacity - 1.5 TB)
- Cloud-attach: Cache usage is under (MAX (95% of CP0 size, CP0 size - 1 TB) - 0.5 TB)
- Limited Cache Free Space state
