Enabling MFA for selected users

You can enable multifactor authentication (MFA) on IBM® Storage Defender Sentinel selected user accounts.

Procedure

To enable MFA on select user accounts, complete the following steps:
  1. Create a key for a specific user account using the following command:
    iepasswd -k <username>

    where <username> is the user account for which you will set the key.

  2. When the string is returned, send the string to the user of the account.
